In the film The Never Ending Story what name does Bastion shout out of the window when he has to pick a name for the Empress??

I'm sorry to say it's "Moonchild" I've wondered this myself and was faintly disappointed when I found out. God bless parents in the 60's!

That has puzzled me too! I saw again it few years ago (unfortunately, without subtiltles), still couldnt figure it out. it was quite vague. It was his mother's name. Glad to know that there are others too who didnt catch it.

If I'm remembering right.... he yelled out his mother's name (that had died) and they never said her name in the movie.
