Wait for the fire to die down a bit and then ask your dad if you can talk to him. Apologize to him for not telling him in the first place, but try to explain to him that you were afraid because of how he reacts to things. Tell him the truth about what happened, but don't be too surprised if he still doesn't believe you. This may just be one of those things that has to blow over and you may just have to deal with it for a while. Good luck.

The best way is to find a quite time alone with your father and tell him the whole story. It's hard to talk to your father, sometimes, but you really need to do it so that he knows that you are trying the best you can. Keep low profile when you talk to your father--when he is mad, don't talk back. Let him calm down first. It may takes a few tries before you can tell him the whole story.

smack your mom for helping you hide it from your dad...you should have just told him in the first place. of course he's not gonna believe you now, cuz you hid it from him and the only reason to hide something is if you are lying. People may get mad, but they get even more mad if you hide stuff from them and they find out later. It's better to be honest.

Have your mom talk to him and try to convince him that it was your friend, not you. But its his choice whether he beleives you or not. But at least your mom is on your side and she can help you out. If you can, try to get your friend to tell your dad that it was them. Good luck to you.
