Hi Michelle,
2 types of personality's that I am familiar with are the Type A and Type B. However, I think these 2 are a generalization of the whole population. Other personalities are more in-depth and psychology enters into the picture,i.e.Narcistic, social anxiety disorder, borderline personality disorder. They play into the general Type A and Type B population as secondary types of personalities and some even being a disorder.
I am a type A , however, I have had to change alot of my life when I became chronically ill and it was/is very hard. These are some of the words which are relative to a Type A personality: always hurrying, perfectionism, rather do something themselves to have it done right, very detailed, and meticulous, can't relax, very inpatient, can't stand to make anyone wait
Type B is just the opposite. This type is more laid back and relaxed, patient, living for the day and not getting excited or worried about tomorrow or the day after, etc., they tend to take things in stride where a type A might have anticipatory anxiety (worrying about things in the future, such as the upcoming week). This anxiety is useless because the person does not even know if it will be validated. Type B may sit back and think or talk about a task before starting it and they are more prone not to worry with anxiety about if it gets finished at a certain time
I use to work with someone in customer service who was type B and I envied him to a certain extent. We could have 50 people walk through the door and he didn't shift his speed gear at all. He still went 1 step forward and 2 back and was not concerned what anyone thought. My Type A was an asset to me regarding this because I was really good at what I did. However, I have read in various places that Type A is at a higher rish for heart disease.
Also, I could not stand to have anyone walk in front of me because everyone walked too slow. I would always tell them to let me be first. Now I tell them to go first because I don't have the ability to keep up to their steps.
Hope this helped you to understand somewhat.

Class A personality people have very strong personalities and can be somewhat to extremely impatient. They are independent, if sometimnes only driven by spirit, and like to work alone. Try: www@psychology.com. If it asks for refinement, try: www@ psychology/personality types.com. Finally, another suggestion: Try: www@psychology/ personalityprofiles.com. FYI: You may know this, but in case you don't: Some email addresses work if the words are separated slightly. Some require slamming it all together. I would try both ways before giving up. Good luck!

Try searching using, "Type A" personality, versus "Type B." It means you are a doer, punch through obstacles, a bit high strung, and don't take things lying down. A "Type B" personality is a person who is more relaxed and low key.
Both types have their pros and cons. Type A's tend to have problems with high blood pressure and stress, and are very ambitious. Type B's tend to not always see things through to completion, but can be a happier overall, since they don't stress about as many things.
