Meet many celebrates while working as a public relations photographer. The one I like the most was President Ford when he took his time to speak privately to a young boy scout.
The worst was a line backer for the NY Jets, I can't recall his name. It was at a fund raiser for the March of Dimes. The jock obviously pump-ed up on steroids paraded around the room in his golf shirt flexing his biceps. What mental midget.

I used to hang out and some of the places the NHL players frequented. Anyway, they were pretty full of themselves in that atmosphere. The one I remember in particular was Theoren Fleury, used to play for the Calgary Flames. He is a small player, but his attitude was over the top! However, I also used to caddy for golf tournaments and met some other great hockey players that were so much fun and very friendly (Dave Semenko, used to play for the Edmonton Oilers, Kevin Lowe, Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier) I had a blast with all of them.

I have met a number of celebrities when behind the scenes at conventions. Most were very nice, down to earth, regular folk.
Except on TV star, she was a stuck-up cow to everyone except the producer. She even snubbed the producer's son.

Cuba Gooding Jr. at teh San Diego WIld Animal Park. Joe MOrton (terminator 2) at a park close to Pasadena Ca. Neil Patrick Harris at an audition in NYC. and a pair of diverse movie star trek DS9 adult males at Six Flags MM and KFC a instructor of mine become acquaintances with Bob Eungland (freddy kruger)

My papa had a good experience with Edgerrin James from the colts a few years back but when Ben Wallace came from Detroit to play the Pacers he had the worst attitude ever

I have worked in radio for over 20 years and met a number of celebrities. 99% of them were very nice down-to-earth people who would treat you just like you treat them.

Well, I haven't had the experience but I have met people online who say they knew or knew someone who knew Prince William and said he was a jerk, but I doubt it.
I think those people had certain expectations of how he was supposed to be exactly, and he didn't seem to fit those expectations for these picky people.
