A website that would be very helpful is sparkpeople.com. they give you a dieting plan including what foods to eat and whatnot and you can talk with others who are trying to do the same thing.

Losing weight is not about starving... noot at all... ok if you are overweight, don't run... or you would ruin your knees, running is the best... but spinning and elliptcal works great too.. If you don't have access to any of these, then walk, walk fast, but don't run. Of course if you are not overweight, run, run run... Now.. on the nutrition side, you need to burn more calories than those you eat, this way you create a deficit and you start losing weight.. fat weight. Avoid sugars, honey, candies, white flours, and don't eat carbs after 6pm...no sodas, no alcohol, or keep it to a minimum, drink lots of water... Lots of heathly food, salads (no dressing), add protein and fat from vegetables like avocado and nus and so.

You need to workout at a pace when you sweat but still can keep a conversation, that is the point where you body is burning the most fat.

Good luck
