I went for my dr apt yesterday.he did his Normal routine stuff, then he went to measure my fundal (uterus) height. He says i measure 18-19 weeks, but im only 14 almost 15 weeks along. They sent me for an ultrasound, and the baby measures right on target...what would cause my uterus to be so large? There's definately only 1 baby in there. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is my baby ok? I wont get my results til monday, so i am just really curious to find out whats going on....

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless your doctor is worried. I remember at about that stage in my 2nd pregnancy, I measured a week smaller than I should have. So my doctor changed my "due date" making it a week later. I was absolutely certain how far along I was. I don't know why the measuring was wrong. But, sure enough a few months later, I was induced on the day that I thought I was due (a week earlier than my doctor's estimated date.) My son was 9 pounds 4 ounces, and 24 inches long. Definitely NOT a week early.
Doctors do their best, but no one is perfect. You know what's going on with your body. Just keep your eyes open and keep communicating with your doctor. Good luck!

You are fine. Im 30 weeks and was measuring 34 weeks. Everything is perfectly normal with my baby and she is right on target too. I also have measured larger than the gestational age. Its just how some women are.

Dont worry u are ok...This happened to me also, with my last pregnancy at 33 weeks I was measuring full term at 39 weeks..Everything was fine therafter,I had my son at 41 weeks...I think some womens bodys change and grow differently,I would be worried if she said you were measuring smaller than normal..Good Luck!

Don't worry I am measuring smaller than I really am. Your baby is fine. The doctor will just keep watching it. :)
