Well obviously you have to ask yourself this
1)Do I want clutter of wired cables from the router to all 4 of my computers? If yes then wired is your choice.
2)Do I play games and wanna some occasional lag and a higher ping rate that can kill my gaming experience but I am ok with it? If yes then wireless is good enough for u.
3)Do I download big files alot via any ftp sites or using i bittorrent? If answer is yes than you should go for wired.

This is the 3 most important things to look out when you are choosing from lan network and wireless network. But what i suggest you do is to have some lan and some wireless where it depends on what computer u r connecting it too like your gaming and heavy download pc should be connected via wired and you normal day pc that u do all your work and stuff and surf the net you can prolly do away with the wires and go wireless for it.

If you're already wired, stay with that. Better performance and security. Unless you actually need wireless, buying a new wireless router is a waste of $$$.

if you have them wired already go with that (better speeds, no signal loss to worry about, better security). No CONS for a wired connection over a wireless. Use the wireless for just wireless connections (PSP,Wii,DS,) where you don't have the option for wires or don't want to run more cabling.
