No, I say that 5'5" is border line short. I mean that it is tall when you are around short ppl. But tall for a girl is like 5'9" to 6'2" after that it is gigantic!

Nope, not tall, not short. I'd say 5'7"+ is tall for a girl. 5'5" is usually perfect height.

I would think that is about average. I don't think I have ever dated a woman under 5'6, but then again I don't go around asking people how tall they are so it is just a guess.

Not in North American culture no. Actually you're average height, tall is five feet eleven or six feet or so for women and there's quite a few of them.

well im 5'5 and yeh its preetty tall, but it depends on how old u r. im 14 going on 15 pretty soon. and i think its a good hight...i wish i would grow to 5'8 tho

no 5'5-5'7 is about the average height for a girl. like me i'm short for a teenage girl. i'm 5'2 and everyone seems like giants to me but they are all really average.

No...it's exactly average. But, if you live in a city like me in South Texas it is taller than average. The people here average at 5'1", so I seem like a giant.
