A patriot is one who proudly supports and defends his or her country and its way of life, not one who systematically works to destroy its principles, undermine its institutions and influence and power and prestige in the world. After the fall of Communism in in the 1990s, when the US was the most powerful and most respected nation in the world, really for saving the world from the ravages of Nazism and then Stalinism, I never imagined that America could fall so far so fast. By this reckless misadventure in the middle east, and trying to run the country as if it were a dictatorship, Bush has done more to destroy the US as a nation than any outside terrorist or nation in history. The only thing more distressing than Bush is that so many people still follow him. Strange how that works. Stalin destroyed Russia, and killed 30 million of his own people, and yet many Russians see him as a hero. He "kicked butt" as one of the answers here states. It just makes me sad to see such a rapid decline of my country, and how many of the young people now are just being lead on a string, not able or not wanting to think for themselves. We have a sad future, if we don't get back to our principles and start understanding that we have been had by our own leaders, by ourselves...

i trust he's an truly determined guy that has a "imaginitive and prescient" of ways he needs the international to be and he would not decrease backtrack because someone would not accept as true with him. he's a rock and would not sway because his thoughts are not "difficulty-free". I nonetheless love W, he has had it hard on the grounds that he has been in workplace. And certain, I voted for him two times. Gore and Kerry, come on, the position might want to we be now?

That second part is a qualifying factor to be a Democrat...after all, they'll do whatever it takes to remain in power.
