I know I'm supposed to suspend disbelief, but come on! They were best friends once upon a time and now he can't recognize him? Clark didn't always wear glasses. So the fact that he does now shouldn't come into play. I don't know, it's a little far-fetched. What do you think?

In the comic of Superman, they were never friends. That's only on the show, Smallville. I find it rediculous too that nobody recognizes Superman just because of his glasses! LOL! They don't make people look THAT different! The worse potrayal of SUperman was in the new movie, Superman Returns. Both Clark and Superman come back after 5 years and not ONE person is suspicious as to where Clark was but everyones wondering where the hell Superman was! LOL! COME ONE! But Smallville is a GREAT show!

Somewhere between 'Smallville' and 'Metropolis', Lex will have to go through a change that will take him fully to the dark side of his mind. During this change, I believe, will be the enevitable 'memory loss' that is suffered almost daily by Clark's closest pals. Good question, I've thought about often, and memory loss is the only viable solution, although it IS so overused! :-)

I remember they brought this us on the lois and clark superman show mid 90s where near the end i think a baddie who knew clark was supes got his glasses in front of lois and put them on and said clark kent then took them off and said superman as to show how could she not notice.

I am assuming you are talking about the television show... which isnt a movie which is where this question ended up.
I never watched the show... which is very unlike me cause I couldnt miss an episode of louis and clark and seen every superman movie a gazillion times (excluding the last one)

It's cause Superman is pretty much perfect. The only thing that can hurt him is kryptonite, and tell me, how many of you have that lying around in your house? Nothing else can hurt him and maybe Lex Luthor is just stupid. That's why you should watch Batman instead. Batman is far from perfect and uses all those cool gadjets to save his butt. Come on, what's cooler than that?

obvious! Well I guess if Lex found out, then the whole thing would go out of wack! Cause all super heroes have to have their SECRET identities, right?
