Several fundamental things.

1. Stay out of other nation's business. Treat all nations fairly based on how they treat us.

2. In the event of another nation butting into our business suggest they keep their big noses at home.

3. In the event we are attacked, respond hard and fast. No exceptions and no excuses. We do not attack anybody but if they attack us we start leveling cities. In other words we walk softly and carry a very large stick. In case of need we beat any attacker into the ground with the big stick. Massive retaliation without any political BS.

4. Act as an example to others. Be supportive of them if they need to retaliate and never play favorites. Always be supportive if somebody wants peace but never interfere.

I think if we can learn to communicate peacefully and listen to the other side's perspective that would help a bit. When people panic, they are usually one-sided about an issue. Just like here in America. I have heard students at my school literally tell me that Islam is all about killing people, but they haven't read a thing about the topic. I know this isn't true because I know people that practice it and I don't hear a word about death or anything. In US history books we justfy the atomic bomb as necessary, but doesn't really say how it affected and still affects the Japanese that we bombed, today. There are too many one-sided things, we need some perspective. Only then can we gain an understanding of out gloabl neighbors. Of course racism, money and past anger have to do with it. I would like to say that this will not be in my children's generation, but I have doubts. By then there will probably be no world because of hatred.

It is simple. Bring all of the foes and enemies together in one room. Iraaq and Syria...Saudi and Iran, Isreal and Lebanon/Gaza. Facilitor Jordan, France, UN and Geneva Convention.

Let talk it out and hear everyone's fears and the US looked on nd just shut up nd viewe it from a close room. We mess up enough good time on this stupid war and we are lagging in the net race and now with China the space race..

You'd have to remove the emotion of pride from EVERYONE in the world for that to happen....sorry, but I doubt that's ever going to happen.
Or...we could kill ourselves off, leaving our species extinct and our planet as lifeless as all the others in the solar system. But it WILL end the wars!

There is a simple solution: send the American troops back home.

"Terrorism" is just an excuse for the U.S. to get its hands on Iraqi oil.
