But i have a real problem with feminists and such. Why do they exist, to annoy other women and men? I woman should be gentle and mild and faitful.

Seriously though... feminism should be all about equality between the genders. In essence that's a noble goal, but I think these days (at leas in most western countries) we have to ask ourselves if feminism is really necessary anymore? Honestly, the feminists of the past decades have done such good work that I for one can't really think of any major areas where women are being grossly repressed or exploited anymore.
The way had been paved for women to get involved in business and management more for example, but as it turned out, many women just didn't want to be managers. They chose to spend more time with their families and children instead of going to a job and putting in more time for the boss. Honestly, I can't say I disagree with them. ;)

So to recap... does feminism have a purpose? Certainly. Is feminism really necessary today? Not really, although an element of feminism could probably always serve as a vanguard against gender-inequality.

Feminists exist to give women access to the same rights and priviledges that men have traditionally had, and to create awareness for (and consequently prevent) gender-based discrimination and violence.

While there are extremists in every movement, I do not think that feminists try to "annoy" other people, nor to they try to "change" women like you who want to be "gentle, mild, and faithful." However, not every woman wants to be this way, and don't you think that all individuals, male or female, should have the right to lead their lives freely and to seek happiness as best they can?

Women are the head of the family in my culture, have been since we first came into the Tennessee River valley tens of thousands of years ago. Maybe where you're from the people are that savage, but we're not like that. We also had to teach the foreign "settlers" to bathe every day, but that's another story for another time.

You would be better off to lose any problem you have. Those who don't understand womens' equality can go back to whatever third world hellhole they came from. Or parts of Europe, whichever.

I can answer this...most women ARE gentle, mild, and faithful...in other words, perfectly decent people.


But some women (like some men) are simply loud-mouthed and obnoxious busy-bodies. Perhaps the feminists of whom you speak are irrationally ashamed of their femininity...I don't know.

We pay too much attention to the relatively few mean and distasteful people on this planet. On any given day, 99.9% of the people I meet are fine folks.

Feminism is the *radical* notion that women are worthy of the same respect, dignity, rights, and privileges that men are afforded. How dare they want those things! I mean, all good Bible-believing followers of JAY-ZUS know that women are to be quiet, meek, subservient slaves to men. How dare they want to be considered actual PEOPLE and pursue what makes THEM happy!
