In the first place, I would hardly call PrisonPlanet.com a "reputable" and "unbiased" news source.
Understand that there is a difference between "peaceful" and "illegal assembly." A group of demonstrators can stand in one place and not move a muscle or make a sound, but if they don't have the required permits to hold the rally, they're in violation of the law and subject to arrest and incarceration.
I suggest you change what you read and find a more creditable and unbiased source.

You call antiwar protestors peaceful? Some are, and some aren't. Some need to learn that just because they are protesting, they still have to follow the instructions of the police.

Bush has ordered these things to happen.
Bush should get the same penalty as Hussein because he destroyed Democracy in America and ushered in Nazi-ism.

i'm sure there's more to the story than they are telling us.
protesters have to learn that protesting doesn't excuse them from the law. they are not allowed to trespass, threaten or assault the police, vandalize property, or heckle the public.
