U.S. lawyers actually tracked down the drug-smuggling illegal invader in Mexico, and offered him money and immunity from prosecution if he would come testify against the agents!
The same criminal invader was later again caught smuggling vast quantities of drugs into the U.S....
...and now, he's got lawyers working on a multi-million dollar "civil rights" case against the agents and our Border Patrol...just surreal...

In a sane world, these two agents would be given medals and promotions for defending themselves and our country from criminal invading vermin and their drugs.
Mexican drug gangs are firing automatic weapons at our unarmed national Guard troops, who must run away like the little girls that the left wants them to be reduced to!!

I would if I were him. Typically the pardons happen just before the end of a President's term.
Bill Clinton being the most conspicuous example.
If the press weren't already in her pocket they would question Hillary Clinton and her co-presidential candidate about some of those very questionable pardons!
Both of these good men got way to much time in jail for a shooting a drug dealer in the Butt. The drug dealer made a full recovery and I am sure he is back running drugs into our country.
The time does not match the supposed crime even if you believe the worst of these two good Americans.

the worse thing is he received only a quarter million letters.....with 300 million in our country with the majority (for now) being middle-class Americans it is unconscionable that only 1/4 million sent letters..we must make ourselves heard in mass!
with bush labeling himself as "the Decider" (read emperor) it's hard to tell what he will do....
There is nothing constitutionally that prevents the president from giving a pardon at any time.....altho he is backing down by saying all pardons must go thru a process......he is lying AGAIN!!!

I doubt Bush will pardon them. We pay our law enforcement officers to enforce, not break, the law, and when these 2 failed to report the shooting and destroyed evidence by cleaning up the crime scene they violated the trust we placed in them.
It's a little like the OJ trial where the police altered the evidence and as a result the criminal goes free. This should be a warning to our law enforcement that they are not above the law, and when they break the law their punishment should be worse than for normal criminals because of the trust they violated.

Nope. President Bush is going ahead with his plan for amnesty and social security benefits for 20,000,000 illegal mexicans regardless of public opinion.

I hope so...but will they have to wait until just before he leaves office? It seems this is when all the 'pardoning' happens. It would be a shame if they had to wait that long.

I think he will due to the overwhelming support these two agents are receiving.

The only person he will pardon is himself on the January 20, 2009. Oh, and if Cheney is extra good, he might get one also.
