dvd burner slowing down?

dvd burner slowing down?

When new, it used to burn dvd's in about 15 min.
now it takes 5 hours.
why does it take so long?
what's slowing the burner down?
the burner is not very old. less than one year.

i use dvd shrink to compress the dvd and dvd decrypter to burn it.

the lens is dirty and needs clean or you are using poor quality DVD's

try turning programs running in the background off
