how do i go alone into the cave near the whicash pond to evolve, i want to evolve.

You press the "B" Button or since it is blue tap on yourself and go to team and there is a new option called stand by and this will allow all but you the ONE Pokemon to go into Wishcash Pond and Evolve...

Some Pokemon Need Items to Evolve like Skitty...

I think you have to walk around and wait until the next day. Your partner will ask to split up the rescue team so he/she won't follow you around anymore. Then, you can go alone.
