injured at work and collectin disablitly wants to marry a man 65 on ss, will the money decrease?

what ever the highest check is that is what you two will get to live on...so if his is higher,you two will live off of that...sometimes it is easier not to get married and keep the both checks....good luck to you both !!

Yes, it will be based on your combined income. This is why so many don't marry, it is to hard on them financially, it is not really fair, but then there alot of things with ss that are not.
