I had a HSG, it is painful i will not lie. I would take some typr of pain pill before you go. It feels like REALLY REALLY REALLY bad pms cramps. I did a have tube blocked so that may have cause some of the pain. Good luck

I read that you need to wait 2 weeks after the HSG to have intercourse at all. And also bring a pad because you will leak the fluid afterwards. I hope your tests goes fine and that you have positive results soon enough!

OK, I didn't have one, but I have talked to women who had. General consensus seems to be to ask your doctor for painkillers before you head for the appointment. Most women said they were fine with them, but it gets painful otherwise. Also, make sure you try for the baby right after they allow you (should be three days after the exam), because HSG often clears your tubes and many couples have conceived that month. Good luck :)

hsg means ur hestogram but tell ur doctor to do leproscopy its very safe not very expensive and its latest.
