Things you download for free at I-tunes. My fave's are UK Lost (from when Lost was on Channel 4), Mugglecast (Harry Potter related) and a few things from Radio 4. The worst one I've ever heard was "Movies you should see". The presenters are a bunch of w******. It took them ten minutes to get round to talking about the movie (Princess Bride) and they talked about the book saying that they were surprised it was fiction and thought Florin was a really place. Turned it off in disgust.

They are small shows for your i-pod. They can be video of say comedy central, short clips of radio tations, or cartoons. There are a million different types of podcasts. I guess you can say that it is entertainment only for ipods, hence the name "pod" casts.
