he is planning on sending 21,500 more tropps there to curb the violence in bagdad especially.everytime the soldiers win a section of baghdad and move on to another section the insurgents would return to the old section and they were political interference where they couldnt go into certain areas of the country so all this and the fact that out of the 40,000 troops already on the ground 3000 of which are dead he feels that in order to achieve victory well a surge of troops is imperatively needed.thats the short summary version, now as for my opinion of his policy and speech...
g.w bush is leading this country into poverty debts and more soldiers dying the general populatio, his own millitary commandes not here but there on the ground and al the politicians in congress say that this war is costing too many lives and at a rate of 1 million dollard a week in spending money that even the u.s is running out of.the main point here is that too many oldiers have died in the 4yrs of this war.wheter he admits it or not iraq is in a civil war and he is putting the troops in the middle to act as referee instead they are getting massacred by both waring factions.getting it on both sides....no wonder they are dying by the dozens every day .its out of the u.s's hands now its a civil war only diplomacy ends that not gunfighting.best scenario here is that g.w listens ,get the troops out post's them in nearby bases and seecures the borders and seas there and let the sunnis and shiites deal with themselves while he works out a diplomatic solution.worse case scenario he keeps shutting out the people ,the generals and congress, and goes ahead and provokes iran and that folks will 100% lead to the start of a nuclear war globally ,do you kind americans, hard working folks want your prez to be solely responsible for the demise of your country and the world,so far 500 billion has been spent its headed to a trillion +,america doesnt have that kind of money to waste outside of their country ,,,he will bring this country down, economically and other ways...and the worst part is he still has anothe 1.5 yrs to go,so the worse of g.w is yet to come
oh by the way have you all heard that he is considering increasing troops in afganistan too?yes its a shame he is out of control

The conflict in Iraq is uncontrolled. consistent with danger the 1000's of troops that are going over there'll make some difference, yet frankly, whilst it extremely is all mentioned and completed, Iraq is on no account going to be at peace. we've Iran making threats with their nuclear application. I have not any doubt that pentagon generals are already making plans an invasion of Iran as I type this. We already understand a provider job stress is being sent to the Persian Gulf and that i I hear somebody say they're making plans on sending greater troops to the section. protection Secretary Gates has mentioned he needs greater troops to be sent to Afganistan. till now that's throughout we are going to lose 1000's greater in American lives and we are going to spend billions greater on attempting to gete a topic remarkable that we could desire to consistently no longer have began interior the 1st place.

"I'm going to do what I want and the hell with everyone else".

Also, he's sending 21,000 troops in. Congress is VERY opposed to this and has threatened to cut off funding to support this. So what Bush has done is sent them in and THEN announced it. He knows Congress will not want to deny money to troops already there, so basically he's doing it and then telling us after the fact, forcing everyone to go along with an idea that nearly everyone thinks is a waste - not just in terms of time, money, and stratgey, but of lives.

He wants to send a surge of 20,000 troops into Iraq. Not a single military leader agrees with him.
