nanos seem to be newer and are ususally 1 or 2 gb, minis are 4 gb or higher but advertised as 1st generation. which would i be better off with?

Ipod Minis were bigger and the wheel was different. I Nano is still being sold and its the click wheel *Touch Wheel* MInis arent sold in the stores anymore

nano. it is the newer version; they dont sell minis in stores anymore

you should get a nano. but to answer your first question, not a lot, but nanos have color, and can hold pics, and store more! yup yup! but actually i think ipod video is the best!! its what i have! =)
