HP with Intel VIIV Core 2 Duo E6300, 2048MB DDR2 memory and 250GB hard drive. If upgrade with Core 2 Duo E6700, do I need to replace the motherboard or anything else due to faster speed in the E6700?

well, it depends on more of the motherboard itself. youll have to do some research, but since they are the same socket and almost the same fsb, etc, you should not have a problem.
