i was wondering does proactive work for black people? i have a friend who say it doesnt.
also, does anyone know a great treatment for blemishes?

yes, it does. its made for anybody who has acne problems. but you have to keep using it or you wont get results.

I have Hispanic Skin, and proactive did not work for me, it dried me out and the acne stayed. I however find a product on the web that is a medicated acne line that did work for me and a little went a long way so it was actually More cost effective. The brand is bee-luscious and the site is beeroyalproducts.com I consulted with the cust.service rep. and they told me about Bee Royal Jelly and that taking it everyday as a nutritional supplement would help from the inside out to have beautiful skin, and yep it worked !! I haven't had skin like this since I was a preteen... Good luck on your search

yeah it does i used it it was working but if you have sensitive skin it will dry it out ......and it makes ur pores bigger after prolonged use and use to if you have serious acne if you have occasional pimples and a few breakoutd dont use it cuz it will dry your skin out yet at teh same time reducing your pimples it will make your skin worse..........thats what a dermatologist todl me and the lady at this spa because thats what it did to my face so i stopped using it but now all i use is the proactiv cleanser and that isnt as strong on my skin..but otherwise yeah its a good product especially if you have the acne scars and an abundace of pimples its good if ur skin isnt sensitive..but get the risk free trial so if it messes up ur skin or doesnt work you get ur money back

well it depends on what type of skin u have? My exboyfriend had acne bad I mean real bad + he was lightskinned. So he tried proactive......well lets just say.....he doesnt look good at all now.

My daughter had some sucess with it in the beginning but I suspect she may not have have kept up with using it correctly.

Yeah it doesnt pend on your skin type. They didn't make it for only one race.

well your friend dosn't know much, because my sister is black (she was adopted) and it worked really well for her.
