I know a few, like how big rabbits are nasty and such. But I was wondering what other might know.

what have people heard? cause I know there are a lot of myths out there.

I agree with the best answer, though I have seen babies servive off special kitten formulas so don't think it can't be done. Always try to save the litter if you can. Don't just call them dead cause the mother is dead or won't feed them.
*Note: I am raising 3 baby flemish as my own right now by bottle feeding them baby kitten formula. So it is doable!

-some people think rabbits are like cats. i agree they have catlike qualities but theyre a whole different animal altogether.
-and they say you can feed newborns w/an eyedropper.
TRUTH: generally you cant because they can only survive on mothers milk. this is only to be done with special milk and as a last resort.

They can breed with cats because of the similar chromosome count.
And they make Cabbits.
Sadly not true.... No such thing as a Cabbit as this myth has been proven to be genetically impossible.

A common myth is that getting your scent on a rabbit's babies will make the mother ignore or kill them. I've never had a problem with this.

that rabbits that are breed for the first time over a year old won't produce.........all my does are breed when they are a year or even 2 years old for the first time and they always produce.
GREENS ARE NOT BAD FOR RABBIT!!!!
