Weather permitting, head North to Glen Coe and the Highlands. Lots of lovely tearooms and beautiful scenery. Alternatively St Andrews is a nice place to drive to from Kircaldy if the weather is bad.

Depends on the weather. Crammond near Edinburgh is nice

Take Highway 90 across the USA...a nice week long drive.
