Yes. I grew up in arcades and I am nostalgic for them. Everytime I walk through a mall, which is rare these days, I always look for the arcade, but they are rare to say the least. It makes sense when the same game in the arcade could be played at your house on the same day that there would be far less demand for them. I can remember the thrill of seeing a new game and putting my quarter on the screen to wait my turn in a group of (typically) guys just hanging out. It sounds pointless and silly I suppose, but it was magic for a teenager in the early 90s.

Yeah. I do. I know that most of the games can be played on the x box or what ever system you own, but the mystery and excitement of seeing if they had a new game and who was in there is gone. I recall the arcade as the escape from my mom shopping for shoes. It was great to have a place where she did not want to be. And I loved the pinball machines which are becoming more of a rarity in 2000s America.
