Be careful that your efforts do not violate (and thus put at risk) your broadband connection contract.

Remember that the speed of the connection will degrade with distance and obstacles. Wifi at that distance will probably be very, very slow. It may not be usable at all.

Other options:

1. Get a second account for site #2.

2. Have site #1 share it's internet connection over a phone line. Purchase modems and have site #2 dial-in to a computer at site #1.

3. Become an amatuer radio operator and explore the world of internet access over the radio. You can find more information at:

200 mtrs or 650ft is a little far for conventional wifi. Even the new N range is going to have trouble getting that far. I have G w/speed boost and ran my antenna from router to a outside TV antenna (like the ones in the old days before cable) and I have picked up my signal over half mile away 3000ft....You might try something like that....or try a wifi booster also with the router..THanks

You have to get a repeater, or another Wifi Access Point to bridge the gap over that long of a distance. you can mess around with unidirectional and bi directional antenna's but it's just easier to put another AP in. to piggyback off of.

That's pretty far for wifi. Is there a direct line of sight for setting up antennae? Are there intervening objects?
