He got his surge too early, he has too much time to be beaten up ala Howard Dean. I think America has progressed beyond race being a huge factor in Presidential elections but I think having no record and being in the spotlight for so long will be his undoing.
I realize the both Carter and Clinton came from nowhere but they had the nomination sealed before the real bloodletting began.

i think the real question should be, is obama ready for the US? considering if elected, he will have only 4 years of experience, and he is as far left as it goes, he will not be elected. That is if he survives long enough through the primaries before hillary has him killed.

Maybe but that lightweight won't make it past the first round of primaries.
I think Condi could win. I think she will be the Republican Vice Presidential nominee in 2008.

His being black does not affect my vote, but his lack of experience worries me. I am aware that other presidents have had experience nad made mistakes, but making educated mistakes and having no clue is something different.
