does someone always have to say fermlee (family) ? It's said in every episode, is it in their contract? I drives me mad AAAGGGHHHHH!!!

Have noticed it to but better to say family in every episode rather than four letter words every other sentance as with some other programmes

I know what you mean, the worst offenders have to be the Mitchells, although the Slaters and the Wicks go on about it too. Pauline Fowler had the same obsession "Stay away from my family Sonia" and look where it got her. It makes me wonder, who do they think they are, the Corleones? Respect the family etc.

It's not just "family", it's "What's goin' on?", and "I 'ate you".
It's in every episode.
Also the way that anyone seems to be handed the change belt to carry on at the market whist they rush off to some family emergercy.
The same happens at the Vick and the cafe, "Carry on here for me I've got to go. It's family business"

That's not even how I talk (I was born and live in the east end). It is annoying isn't it? And it is SO depressing and....GAH! I actually don't watch EE anymore, it makes me too depressed. Actually living in the east end is depressing enough without it being made 10 times worse on the TV

That is one that they always bang on about.Mah Family this and that, and Mah boys etc. Especially the Mitchells and the Fowlers ... what's left of them.
They repeat a lot of storylines too but that's another issue!
