You know...it's like when you're already in bed and you're about to finally fall into a deep sleep and then someone calls or you're otherwise interrupted.

Thanks!

I completely agree with you. It is like these people have radar that says call you cause you are trying to sleep. So annoying. Happens all the time. Most of the time it is my Mother in law too.
I don't think it has a name though, but it should.

Depending on what time the calls come, the phenomenon is either called "family & friends who love you" or "lack of consideration". Turn the ringer off when you're ready to go to bed and turn it back on in the morning. Good luck getting a good night's rest!

It's called friends and family with incredible timing. Don't you just hate that? I work a set part-time night schedule and I can go days without the phone ringing....but let me try to sleep....ahhhh
