Absolutely not. (good book, btw.)

I can't imagine watching everything I know and everyone I know gradually go away or change beyond recognition. When you work with seniors you see how the loss of their friends affects the mind. I can't imagine seeing loved ones die one by one, knowing that no matter what is in the hereafter, I will never know and never have a chance to join them.

The great dumbledore quote above points out that the best people end their lives with the same courage and dignity that they live them.

Besides... I'm lousy at working without a deadline. Imagine how much worse it would be if I knew I would never die! I could never get ANYTHING done!

No, no, no. Not like Tuck anyway.
I haven't read the book but I saw the movie (I'm sure the book is better). A woman told me she rented the video and watched it 17 times because it was so good. Seemed a little excessive to me, but it did make me curious enough to watch it. I found the movie disturbing.
The saddest part of aging is seeing those you love grow older, suffer and die. Being trapped forever at a given age, watching everyone and everything else moving slowly toward death...that's everlasting hell.

I read Tuck in 6th grade and loved it!
I would choose to live forever...IF....(1) everyone else in the world lived forever too so i wouldnt have to hide.and (2) It would depend on how old i would go on living forever, like i dont wanna be this age forever, i wanna get a little older.

But i think mostly if everyone else i knew would eventually grow old and die, I dont think i would wanna live cause you have no friends, you just have to be by yourself for....forever.

I don't think I would want to live forever. The movie "Bicenntenial Man" kind of sums up why I wouldn't want to live forever: because all the people I love would pass on and I'd be stuck living without them, forever. Learning to love new people of every generation would really take a trial on my heart. And besides, I would like to see what heaven is like.

yes, and no.

I like the highlander stories, and how he has passed the time. They are exciting
Tuck Everlasting, makes you realize what problems you would face if you live forever. If your love one can die and you go on forever it would be sad,

No, as Dumbledore put it and probably many others, to the well organized mind, death is the next great adventure.

I don't think i would...everyone that you love would be moving on while you're stuck living. Plus everyone was meant to die eventually

no, to me it would take the "sweetness" out of life...no light without dark, no good without bad...it's that kind of thing for me. i also look to sit and have another great chat with my dad again someday (hopefully not too soon!)
