You need to turn the heat completely off except for a very small heating pad or heating rock. If he's in hiding, the heat won't attract him until it gets really cold, like below 60 degrees. Then he'll head out for a heat source.

Why ask the same basic question twice? You can't MAKE him do anything, it's a snake, it being an apartment, hopefully it doesn't have access to anyone else's apartment via an a/c duct or anything else. Leave a water dish out for him, as I said in the last same question he'll probably look for water before food, a snake that size can go quite a while without eating. And looking for him will get him found quicker than asking questions online.

Wow that's amazing. It was hard to find our 2 foot jungle carpet when she got out. We tried every trick in the book. Putting a heat pad out. Putting mice in bottles trying to trick her by getting her in the bottle. Put mice all over our apartment. Nothing worked for us. Eventually 6 days later we opened the cutlery drawer and there she was just hanging out.

But, a snake this big? Oh my is there anyway it could have gotten out of your apartment? Through a window or patio door? Any holes big enough in your walls? I hate to think what will happen if a neighbour sees it.

my grandson has loved snakes every since he was young and he had the same kind of Snake your talking about and his got loose in his house Al's he could do was to wait till he came out of where ever he was . He also looks in warm spots in the house as you did with the same result's as you NOTHING. YOU can put some mice in a cage and wait for your snake but if he has been feed you Will be waiting awhile.I would warn the neighbor's of the snake being out as in apartment's he could get into other apartments. GOOD LUCK

the heat idea is # one, but i wouldnt temp a 12 foot snake with a mouse lol more like a rat or rabbit. make the pantry really cool some how, ice bags. and do temp it with its favorate food. depending on the last time you fed it, they can fast for a month or more if they have to. are there other animals in the house, maybe its afraid and thats why its hiding.
