Jack Ingram's "Lips of an Angel". I dont understand it and the video doesnt help any. I like the way the song sounds but I dont know exactly what it means. So...answer! Thanks.

The guys ex calls him late at night. He has to talk quietly because his new girlfriend is in the other room. He likes hearing from the ex because he never got over her and vice versa but he also worries that her calling him is gonna cause a fight between her and her current boyfriend. He is also worried because talking to her makes it hard for him to be faithful to his current girlfriend

I'm not sure about the real meaning of the song but I am sure that he didn't write it. Hinder is the rock group that originally wrote and recorded that song. To me it sounds like the story of a guy who still has feelings for an ex

Mollie is correct. It's a song written by the lead singer of the rock band HINDER. He says (according to VH1) that it really happened to him. His former girlfriend whom he never got over called while he was living with the new girlfriend. Listen closely to the lyrics. He says they always end up fighting when they talk, but he's happy to hear from her. I thought it was about infidelity, originally.

Well its the same as Hinder's version,its about the guys ex girlfriend call him at home why his new woman is there,but he's happy to hear from her,and they still haven't gotten over each other!

in an interview i heard w/ the lead singer of Hinder, he said that it has actually happened to him while he was seeing this one girl that his ex called him......and so on so forth
