we recently moved and I dont want him going back to our old address and getting lost. I have been told to keep him in a while but they say cats do go wandering!

You most certainly can - chipping is for many larger animals - cats, dogs, horses etc.

It worked recently when my cat went walkabout and someone took him to the RSPCA just remember that if you move house again to ring them and advise them of the new address.

Yes. I just got my cat from the Cats Protection and she was chipped before we could bring her home.

Yes you can. All of mine are chipped. You get a certificate with your cat's identification number on, and if he goes missing you report it to the telephone number on the certificate.

yes my cats are chipped, you can even pay a couple of quid extra and get a chip that measures body temp which means your cat can live a life without having a thermometer shoved up it's bottom! only £20 quid from my vet!

No its not just for dogs i had my cat chipped about a year ago. it costs about 20pound at the vets

yes you can get your cat chipped but also keep him in as well for week or two.

Well, I know here they have it, but it doesn't mean he won't get lost. The chip only works IF someone takes him to the vet and they scan him. If someone were to find him, and like him and bring him in or never take him to the vet, or worse, something happened to him, you'd never know unless they scanned him at a vet.

yes you can get your cat chipped,i got my cat done through the rspca when i brought her from there.
