Puerto Rico is the country with most holidays. there are more than 25 , let's see if i remenber some..
3 kings day, fathers and mother day, tree day, students day, teacher day, governors day, thanks giving, christmas, work day, secretaries day, boss day, nurse day, toy game (no public school) also free week on HolidayWeek, colleges get 2 weeks.
so kids can play with the toys at the school. and there are more than 10 days relate to important men in PR history, no work and no public school. also school began on january 12 -- finish on may3 --summer vacation / start again on august 21--finish on dec.11 so...if ur in public school you take only 150 class days if the teacher don't get sick ' cause there are not substitutes. i live in the island for 30 years so i know what i'm talking.... :) you could say is the paradise for lazy people....
