Saddam Hussein has been convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging.
The former Iraqi leader was convicted over the killing of 148 people in the mainly Shia town of Dujail following an assassination attempt on him in 1982.

His half-brother Barzan al-Tikriti and Iraq's former chief judge Awad Hamed al-Bandar were also sentenced to death.

US President George W Bush welcomed the verdict as a "milestone" in the efforts of the Iraqi people "to replace the rule of a tyrant with the rule of law".

Its seems to be law is eually treated, but not really, because the US President George W Bush has been the responsible for killing so many lifes of afghanistan people, since US is a super power in the world no one was ready to question about this. If USA is like Iraq then George W Bush would be hanged in front of the world for what he made for Agghanistan people.

My Answer is No and it also same for the Indian Citizens

they have a very long history of classes that cannot readily be stamped out of their group consiousness( probably because all men are not truly equal. that is a myth)
so they still expect better behavior and higher standards are imposed by law on the higher classes, it makes sense really.

the idea that all men are created equal is a pretty one, but there is really no evidence to support it. The declaration of independence of the USA is a perfect example of bootstrap reasoning that presumes the conclusion and offers no real logic for it. That is why it is called a declaration instead of an argument. "we hold the following to be self-evident..." What the heck is self-evident? what a canard. Who dreamed up this silly stuff. If you look around you all the evidence is that men are NOT equal in anything. ability, talent, effort, will, behavior, breedin, class, types, looks, etc etc. What is "self-evident"? The only reason to use such a phrase is because you have absolutely no evidence or argument to back up your statement.
Our founding fathers in USA were a bunch of charletons who needed an excuse to cheat their nation of England out of its fair share of the booty they were extracting from the oppressed native Americans.
We were founded by a bunch of theives and racists and criminals and are still run by the same group.

In the Constitution of India, all the States are to be treated equally. In the Rajya Sabha, which is other wise known as the Council of
States, all the States have equal representation. That is the cornerstone of any federal set up. A small state which joins the federal government should not find itself at disadvantageous position.

Indian constitution by its spirit & rule gives every citizen to be equal before law. Sadly the bureacracy takes it another way. Prejudice, bias towards another caste/community has taken its full form to exist in India. When you can see Hindu God's images across the government offices in India, why the expectation of secularism??

Instead of nations' leaders images, Gods images/poojas have overtaken to project the communalism in Indias bureaucracy. Now you tell me, why should not the other communties ask for reservaton in jobs etc., Naturally every community feel insecure, seeing the trend where nation is going towards.

If secularism has to remain & every citizen to be treated equally, regardless of his race/religion, ban worshipping of gods in government offices. Bureaucracy is supposed to serve the people of India & not a particular community.

The laws are in place for the good of the child... if a person does not want a child there are ways to prevent pregnancy. Men and women need to take responsibility for their actions and realize that the laws are not in place to punish (unless you are a deadbeat parent) they are in place to protect and care for a child. I am sorry that you think it is unfair that men have no right to choose to abort but it is the women who is figuratively and physically attached to the child (you can not force a person into a medical procedure). What if there were a law that states men can force their partner to have an abortion if he is permanently sterilized, would it be commonly supported? I would guess not - because you can not cut off a person reproductive rights.

In principle they are all equal but in practice there are aberrations. There are many reasons for this. The common link is that some people think that they can manipulate legal provisions and get away from the law by using money, influence and political position. And people from all sections of society are included in this list, police, judiciary, lawyers, government and of course people.

Which Indians, Eastern Indians or American Indians? If its American Indians, they have their own legal system. The Indian nation is like a third world country within the US. It was wrong to provide Indians with separate land because they never integrated with the US population. the result is a separate society and lower class living conditions wrought with selling low life gambling, cigarettes, strip clubs and fireworks.

because the very word 'Equal' is open to many interpretations in front of the law depending on who is before it.
