Gone are the days when people were respected simply because they happened to be older than you are. Unless the boss commands respect and has got admirable qualities it becomes tough to respect him. I guess we need to as usual keep a low profile..

I give my boss respect because he is my employer and my elder, that is just how I was raised. But I do not respect him as a person sometimes because of the way he treats people. I would never disrespect him publicly, do not bite the hand that feeds you.

You respect your Boss, if you think, you can look upon him to grow up, See him as a role model. and see him as some one you would follow as a leader.

Since, each person is different, the qualities which get you respect different, However, the common ones are:

Behaves Ethical, Respects people, Approachable, Cares for you and seen as SUCCESSFUL

respect gaing boss is one

who shows the purpose and take together the team to do the things faster, with concentration, emmit courage, bravery and creates an enjoing atmosphere, one who can take up subordinates place without feeling low

utimately it is one who make things (goal) happen anyhow, not just keep seeing them and wishing that somebody other will do it.

i don't respect my boss. he is rude to most of his employees. he yells and screams, he doesn't like anyone, probably not even himself. he will get my respect when he starts acting like an adult instead of a spoiled brat.
