because i am getting mine done and i dont want nothing to go SERIOUSLY wrong will it be ok if i just clean it ALL THE TIME?

i got my tounge pierced 3 years ago. it got swollen and bruised but it went away. don't eat tomatoes until swelling etc goes away, even ketchup irritated my tongue. things can always go wrong, but out all the people i know who have done it, nothing like that has happen. i also recommend getting one with plastic balls when it is ok to change it out. it will protect your teeth

Your tongue is the worst place to get pierced! You realise it will swell, you will feel like you are choking and you will be very uncomfortable for a few days. I don't know if you have ever bitten your tongue? Multiply the pain loads of times.
