for troop withdrawal from Iraq.
What's up with that? Any thoughts on that?

I'm not a liberal nor a Democrat, btw. It just seems curious that she's not siding with most of her party.

She is pro troop cap.

This way she is not culpable for a flip flop on the old go to war vote. Stays pro Military and anti Bush.

It;s a good decision for a senator from a wealthy state.

Simple she wants to be President and she needs people other than ultra leftists to win. The democratic victory was not a vote for troop withdraw ls. The Democrats who actually won were moderate in nature; or they portrayed themselves that way.

Hillary may not be my favorite politician but she is a shrewd politician. She knows withdrawal equals political suicide.

Experience. She knows that for Slick Willie to win he had move towards the center to get conservative votes.

Nothing she does or does not do is not a carefully thought out plan with the goal of her occupying the Oval Office in 2008.

She is portraying herself as a "woman for all sides" and as soon as she gets elected ( if she ever does ) she will remove the mask and become the thing she is.

Somewhere along her campaign trail she is going to be asked some real questions, e.g. "forgetting things" "what happened to Vince Foster" etc., etc. Her opponents are not going to let her get away with anything.

Hillary is not calling for withdrawal of troops, she is calling for RE-DEPLOYMENT, a very sbtle way to say withdraw NOW, Never listen to what Hillary clinton has to say, listen to the interpreter!!

She learned from her husband Bill. Straddle the fence. That will be what it will be like if she is elected. She called, yesterday, for an increase of troops for Afghanistan. Same old same old.

I don't think she support full and complete withdrawal right away. necons say dems don't have a plan. when dems state their position, its micro management. this is politics to say dems can't handle this type of situation

She is out there but maybe she came to her senses and realizes that it is going to take time to withdrawl from Iraq. Yes we may have not been perfect in attacking Iraq but we can't just go in, attack, then leave. It has never worked that way.
