what do i do if i want to add new pix on my ipod ?

Yes, you'll always have to sync to add new content. To add still photos, connect your iPod and pull up its Photo tab. If you have not already done so, designate a single folder (check "Sync Photos From:", use the browse function to select a folder, and then check the "All Photos" button) that you want it to upload content from (I suggest creating a new folder named "iPod" in the My Photos folder). To add new photos, all you have to do is add them to the folder, and to remove them from the iPod, remove them from the folder. Once you've changed the content in the folder, resync your iPod and it'll take care of the changes for you. Now, in addition to creating a special folder just for this purpose, I'd advise you to copy/paste duplicate files only into this folder, and then when you're ready to clean them out of the iPod you can simply delete the duplicates. Otherwise, you'll have to remember to cut/paste them back out of the folder instead of simply deleting them so you don't lose them permanently.
