Get in touch with your local Land Registry Office.

If you can give them the Ordnance Survey grid reference, postcode, or even a satellite photo with the address (try Google Earth), they should be able to tell you who owns the land.

They charge a small fee for the service.

if you know the address, or the title number you can do it on line. You can download the Office Copy Entry and/or the plan. If you don't you have to download a form and send in with a plan.
