If you have long fingernails as I do, the stuff gets under them and it's not easily applied. I like the results not the method of application.

I agree that you should try apply it with your fourth finger. And don't use sponge, mousse blush has to be applyed with fingers only.

use a foundation sponge and blend on the apples of your cheeks while smiling.

cottonbuds to apply to cheeks then you can use your finger to rub in
