I'm not neccesarily a safer driver per say, but I am a "better" driver when it comes to driving long distances/being able to be in the car (he gets bored and tired and can't drive after like 4 hours, whereas I can drive for 14 hours straight and be fine). He'd agree on that. He always wants me to drive.

I am definitely the better driver. For one thing, my 'friend' does not have license and insists upon driving. I keep telling him that they took your license away for a reason - you can't drive! He runs up on the back of people's cars and then moves into another lane - in my opinion, not allowing enough car space. Me, I drive with passion and concern for other drivers. I am a nice driver. I allow people in, I wave in thanks when people let me in, I slow down in school spots, wave at the kids, I don't talk on my cell phone, I keep my music down; I don't speed (only had one ticket in 40 driving years!), I smile at people and sometimes, I've had short conversations at lights. He would not think I was - but how can he talk? lol

However right now he really cant disagree since his jaw was broken and Im not complaining because he could have lost his life. But he's been in 3 other accidents Ive only been in one and Ive been driving 21 yrs and it wasnt my fault in the accident I was inso the definite answer is ME ME ME ME ME!

My spouse has more time on the road, so to speak, yet has had more accidents and more tickets. I have only had 1 ticket and no accidents in my entire 24 years of driving. I would say that I am more aware and cautious when I drive, and No, he would never agree with me. Whenever we go anywhere as a family, I drive. I cannot trust someone with my life who has a history of bad driving. He hates it. But oh well.

I asked my wife and she says that I am a better driver than she is, because she does not like to drive. She drives only if it is extremely necessary, otherwise I would do the driving.

My husband, sometime I am sooo impatient with people in front of me who can't drive the speed limit. I also tend to speed at times. (just 5 or 10) over, but still.
