The Colts. Here's why:
1. The game is in Indianapolis. Home field is an advantage in general, but the RCA Dome can get very loud.
2. The Colts defense. It was one of the worst in the regular season, but former pro-bowler safety Bob Sanders has been injured most of the season but has been back in the playoffs. He is their emotional leader and best player. The defense has also been motivated to tackle better because of how important the playoff games are, and the crowd noise will also help give them a boost.
3. The Pats' defensive coordinator, Bill Belichick, is a genius, and in past meetings has given Peyton fits. But there is the sense that there is nothing new that he can show to confuse Peyton, and further, Belichick just doesn't have the talent he used to have, especially in the secondary.
4. Peyton is the best QB of his era, and has two pro-bowl WRs, plus a really good TE, but even if he isn't on the top of his game (as it often seems when he plays in the playoffs) the Colts run offense is really good. The stretch play that the Colts run should be really successful against the slow Patriots linebackers.
5. The Colts now have Adam Vinatieri as their kicker. In the past matchups against the Patriots, the Patriots had the best clutch kicker in history. Now the Colts have him.
For the Patriots to win, they have to hope the Colts run defense returns to regular season form, and that Peyton makes plenty of mistakes. Plus the other advantages above would have to be neutralized. In my opinion, that is too much to ask.

The Patriots all the way. Admittedly, they have lost their last two meetings against the colts, but that doesnt mean they don't have the better team as of right now. The colts have been vastly over perfroming on defense while the pats under performed last sunday, yet still walked away with a victory over the best team/offense in the NFL. Brady wont throw three int again, and the colts offense is not as good as the chargers. No matter what though, AFC has got the Super Bowl Locked up...bears and saints would both be middle of the road teams if they were in the AFC.

Colts. The Pats have owned the Colts in the playoffs over the past years. Though they always play at Foxboro. Well the past two regular season games have been at Foxboro and the Colts have beaten them both times(any reason they always play at Foxboro?).Anyway the Colts are now playing the way the Pats did back then.....a team. Peyton is not playing his best as usual in the playoffs but, are winning as a team. This is the year the defense is playing old Tampa Bay style when Dungy was there. With this resurgent Colts defense and a somethings gotta give into this offense I believe this is the year for Peyton and Co. Peace out..................

COLTS!!!!!
1) Our defense is allowing 7 PPG, allowing less then 15% on 3rd downs, and 10 1st downs a game on defense this postseason
2) 9-0 at the RCA dome
3) Matt Light and Nick Kaczur won't be able to stop Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis
4) James Sanders and Artrell Hawkins defending the long ball/Dallas Clark???????? Have fun with that!
5) Vinatieri doesn't choke in the playoffs
6) Our defense will shut down the Pat's recievers
7) Bob Sanders will play
8) You can slow our offense but you can't stop it
GO COLTS!!!!!!!!

Pats are going to kick the colts *** and its going to be the patriots and the bears in the superbowl with the bears winning (hey, i'm from CHICAGO!!!)
and heres why. Payton Manning will choke. just like every year they make it this far they whole team ends up choking. and every year they loose the game before the superbowl.
and actually I'm from Indiana (nw) but the Bears are still a HELL of alot better than the colts!

AS much of an advantage i think the colts have in this game, it is really hard to pick against the patriots. I have doubted them before just as i'm sure everybody as and they continually prove me wrong. They just seem to have something special in the entire org. year after year they win even with the loss of great players they rebound quicker than any team. They have 1 pro bowler but yet here they are again in the AFC champ. My mind says the colts but my heart says the patriots. They i believe are the greatest example of the word "Team" in all of sports
