You obviously seem too innocent and so inexperienced about the 'real' American people. What you say above is definitely a reflection of a youthful naivety.
I just really hope that you could open your eyes wider and better asap.
Not all Americans are fantastic, great and friendly as you described above.
I cannot say bad things about Americans at all here.... But I do hope you would find it yourself gradually of what the 'real' Americans are in reality. I also hope you won't be this ignorant and naivè of your innocent perception of the Americans.

Good luck......

I grew up in a town that had many people of Italian descent, and have visited different parts of Italy several times. I think Americans and Italians get along very well and have mainly positive opinions of each other. Any Italians I've dealt with overseas have been warm, friendly, and helpful. I like their approach to life.

Besides, who doesn't like Italian food?! I still remember a simple plate of delicious pasta and sauce with bread and wine I had one day on Ischia almost 30 years ago.

Buon giorno, ciao!

It is good to feel like this way. However, all countries have no friendship. It is all about business. If your interests are served then you are a friend and if you stand for their evil thoughts you are enemy.
Osama and Saddam were America's friend at one time and they were getting money and weapons from USA. But later on they were in CIA/FBI's most wanted list.

weve been friends with Italy for a while, but now I think they are pissed that Bush went off and started a war he can't end without the UN i.e. England, France and Italy!

We seem to be on good terms. I'd love to see Venice and Rome based on the pictures I've seen.
