I live in France. A ticket costs about 9.5 Euro ($12), but I always get a reduction (for student only) and I pay 6.5 Euro.
Once I lived in Indonesia. A ticket costs $5, but one Big Mac only costs like $1, so that's pretty expensive (the cinema ticket, I mean).

In Perth W.A. we have a gold card to our local cinema so it cost us $9.00 (Aust) a ticket, adult or child, without the card it costs $14.00 adult $9.50 child, thats during the day.

A ticket price varies according to the class of the theater.I will put the prices in US Dollar.
The Lowest can reach 90 cents in low class areas .
The Most expensive in the high class areas is about 4.3 USD.and that's a Class A theater in a 5 stars Hotel for example.

We sometimes go to a special deluxe screen where the tickets are £8 though.

in brunei it's B$4(Monday-Wednesday days) to B$10(on weekends nights).
Big Mac in Brunei= B$3.50
A 350ml coca cola bottle = B$1.00
a pirated dvd of the same film = B$4.00

I live in Grand Rapids, MI and a ticket cost between $5.50 and 6.50 during the day and $6.50 and 8.50 at night, it depends what theater you go to really.

The last movie I saw in the theater was the Matrix so it's been a while! I think we paid about $8 per ticket though.........

cheap places one dolar US. medium where most go two dolars US and some go as high as eitht dolars.
Don't make the mistake that most do and think that is cheap because for here it is not. Five dolars is a good days pay here. Many get less.

here it is about 8 or 9 dollars. you can go to a matinee and get in for 6 or 7 dollars.
