When I told a mom at the daycare I taught at that her daughter was being a bit aggressive. (2 months ago) I worked that conversation with extreme caution because I didn't want her to think I disliked her child as a result or felt any animosity towards mom or daughter. I never wanted her to worry about the quality of care her little girl would receive under my watch. Yes, it worked. I got laid off from my job two days ago and that very same mother asked me if I would consider watching her daughters at her home. She's pulling them from daycare now. Felt really good too because my employer was AWFUL to me and while part of me is really sad that another parent doesn't want their child attending her daycare, part of me is a bit smug because I know I did a good job with the kids and didn't deserve to be let go! (the employer's best friend is on staff and was kept even though I had seniority and a better working relationship with the parents and kids)
