Out of all the Green Lanterns in the Green Lantern Corp, who is your favourite? Please a reason as to your decision.
My favourite is Guy Gardner. The reason for this choice is the simple fact the Guy Gardner is such a self-centred, egotistical a**hole that it makes me laugh. There is no funnier GL anywhere, ever.
What's your choice?

Hal Jordan, no doubt! He is fearless and the prototype Green Lantern. He cannot to intimidated. That is why Batman hates Green Lantern. Batman lives my intimidation and fear. Hal Jordan is fearless.

I would have to go with Hal Jordan as well. I grew up with him so I am obviously biased. I recall I was just ending my relationship with comic books when they had him go bad, actually at that time they were killing, or breaking, or cloning all the old heroes out of the comics, (I can't remember Hal's evil identity) and they had Kyle Rainer? I think, take his place. I never read any of his stories, but I have watched a few episodes of the Justice League cartoon and there is that new GL and I assume he is in the comics too, so I guess Kyle didn't last very long.

One of the most interesting Green Lanterns has always been the blind one (and, under the pressure of the moment, I’ve forgotten his name!) In a delightful story by Alan Moore, Katma Tui had to go find someone worthy of being a replacement Lantern for a sector whose GL had died. That sector was in a cosmic cloud of gas and dust and contained no stars, so the things living in there had no eyesight and did not understand what light was. Katma finally thought of modifying his ring into a sound-emitting device, instead.

“In loudest din
In hush profound
My ears catch evil’s slightest sound

Let those who worship evil’s knell
Beware my power—
The F-Sharp Bell!”

I have several friends who are blind.

Currently Hal, if you want a Corps member. He is pure intergalactic policeman. The old corps had some great choices. I preferred Ch'p, because he could find humor and share it without being a jerk.
Overall, no one beats Alan Scott, even Guy has had moments of reverence for the original.

My favorite for tv is John Stewart, because he's better developed than in the books ( a real whiner boor).

My favorite in the books is Kyle Rayner-he's very liberal.

My favorite silver-age is Arkkis Chummuck (or something like that). His race ate their own dead. He looked kind of wolf-like (he was also in Justice League cartoon as an extra-the episode where John Stewart is on trial.

Hal Jordan. Guy Gardner is a close second (and was actually the rings first choice, Hal was just closer)

Good ol' square Hal Jordan, test pilot. I bought my first GL comic for 12 cents in 1966. (It had him teaming with the Golden Age GL.) I like my heroes to be heroes.

My favorite is John Stewart because he's so smart and he's the unofficial leader of the Justice League.
