Pick an era of history you don't think others will pick such as Roman History, Greece, or England in the 1600's. Vikings travel, Leif Erickson, discovery of Iceland and Greenland. Find out your family roots and where they came from, why they did not did not leave Europe, etc. When did they leave? Maybe the Inca's. There is so so much history, pick one small thing, research it well and present a report on it. Don't pick something large like WW2, Hitler, just something small that made a big change in the world.

I've read extensively on these ladies and their lives are amazing.
Visual aids can be anything from portraits on a cardboard stand to current events that are taking place because of the groundwork they laid. You could play a series of tapes or CDs about them or even recordings of their quotations. Lighting can be period themed (an imitation gaslight, a kerosene lantern, a candle) You could display a few newspaper ads from library archives that illustrate the mindset of the day and the obstacles they faced.

The Underground railroad is what I was going to say you can get really creative. I did a history fair project on Andersonville and other civil war prison camps, it turned out really well.

U should d about the declaration of independence. Say what would have happned with out. Its a really intresting project idea. I think you should d it. and u can like dress up like thomas jeffersn and have feathers on ur poster board. use script when u type up ur iformation s it would look like the declartion of independence, you use paper that looks burnt , so it would look old
