Oh come on now ,You know better. There is enough blame to go around Bush Admin,House and Senate. Need I remind you
Bush does not have to worry about re-election but many wannabes do. The House knows they can not cut off spending but they are wasting time voting on blocking funds. I am sorry but weren't they going to come up with a viable solutions which never materialized after the last election. If they were a corporation they would have gone under or been fired a long time ago. Who is most to blame ? ... the public which thinks they are so smart and tries to be play politics right along with them instead of using common sense in when they vote. We get too caught up in the fight between political groups to realize we are giving a fantastic lifestyle to 500+ individuals and getting nothing in return except something to argue over. They count on that. Stop the madness!!

The best way to discover what the troops think and their morale is to ask them!
Within the last 36 months, every high level member of the Democratic Party has requested or endorsed a troop level increase in Iraq - until the President does so.
Now the same Democrats are flip-flopping away, so who's playing politics with the troops?

They play politics with EVERYTHING. That's what happens when having power, consolidating and using it are the ends, and not a means to achieve other, worthwhile objectives.
There isn't anything that isn't politically-based. Usually, politics comes after policy - it's a tool used to try and achieve or justify policy. In the Bush administration, policy is determined by the political hacks. They're running the show instead of being the lackeys they should be.
Someone like Rove should never have any say in policy matters.

Desperate?! Playing politics with the troops?! THAT is the pot calling the kettle black! Open your eyes! For YEARS (Nevermind even in the past MONTH) Dems have been calling for more troops in Iraq, then the very day President Bush announces his plan, they pull a John Kerry (Flip-Flop, Flip-Flop, Flip-Flop) and OPPOSE troop surges! In case you haven't figured it out, whatever George Bush says, they oppose! They're not interested in the security of this nation! Their interest is... Yep... You guessed it... THEIR OWN POWER!!!!

They aren't. It's the anti-war left that's playing politics with them, especially the "Out of Iraq Caucus," who stupidly believes that our presence there is causing the violence, and pulling out and letting Iran & Syria have some say in what goes on there will bring peace, instead of facing the fact Iran & Syria are responsible for the Shiite terrorism, and Al-Qaida is responsible for the Sunni terrorism.
They say we should rebuild the country(and I agree), but you can't do that if our enemies are destroying it. They want us to cut off funding, despite the fact that it's going to make things worse, just like cutting off funding made things worse for Indochina.

when are people going to stop questioning this administration, and accept what were dealing with?
Everyone already knows what an idiot this president and everyone who follows him is, start doing something about it instead of talking about it.
People cant see what Bush is doing?
People cant be that stupid, can they?
Theres no more need to ask questions trying to figure out whats going through the mind of this idiot president of ours, instead we should focus on how to keep him from continuing to do so.
That means the writing to your congressman, assembling in groups, putting pressure on them as to stop thinking about their future term and start acting in the moment and get tht tough legistlation against the president initiated and past.--otherwise they wont have a future term
Too many people are talking about what a bad mistake this is and that is on a daily basis with this idiot president
well, what does a president have to do to get impeached.
or better yet, what does it take for democrats to get off their sorry asses and start some way to neutralize the harm this guy can if they arent going to impeach him.
No, just like the countless number of questions that wil surely follow everyday til bush's term comes up, so too wil congress leaders remain content on talking about the results of choices this president makes, instead of taking the action needed and narrowing his options and force his hand to do the right thing.
So it is safe to say that the president is an idiot beyond belief, and that democrats are too weak to stop the idiot from continuing his idiocy, and the people are too lazy to get off their butts to pressure on their congressional leaders to make the decisions they should make now, instead of whats best for their future terms
What a mess huh?
guess we get what we deserve huh?
=======
I already received 2 negatives..in a few minutes for thisresponse.
And I thank you for proving my point
A call to action and pointing out the right shows that more of the dim witted who dont agree with the truth are willing to take more action then the people that are content to complain, and do nothing about the situation.
Dont even take enough action to click a thumb up or down button here.
Guess the idiots truly do rule the world
at least they ACT

This is not a defense, it is just the world as I see it.
